CONTENT

Do I have to provide all the content & pictures?
No, we have content that we can use and a library of stock photos, but it is highly recommended to have your own content and photos as well. 

 

How can I send you my content?
We currently use DropBox or Google Drive to receive large files. More information will be provided during initial consultation.

 

Our company already has a website, can you update it for us?
Yes, please contact us today and we will be happy to provide you with a quote for updating it.

WEBSITE BASICS

How long will my website take to build?
Website build time is typically 1-2 weeks but it can take longer if information is not provided in a timely manner. 

 

Do I need to purchase my domain name?
No, we will help you with the process when your site is ready to go live. WIX currently offers a FREE domain name (for the first year) with a purchase of a hosting plan.

Do I need to purchase hosting prior to working with GSB Web Design?

No, DO NOT purchase hosting through any platform. WIX requires a dedicated hosting plan. If the site is going to be designed on WIX it needs to be hosted on WIX.

Will my website be hosted through GSB Web Design?
No, your website will be hosted on WIX (or the platform your website was designed on). More information will be provided during initial consultation.

Are your websites mobile friendly?
Yes, every website we create is mobile friendly. Remember, this helps your ranking on Google as well. 

How can I update my website in the future?

Since you will be using WIX as your website platform, updating your website is extremely easy. Before launch we will show you all the ways you can update your website. If you would rather have our team update your website please reach out to us at any time.

 

PAYMENT

What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards.

When is payment due?

Website design payments are due upon project completion. For website maintenance and all other services payment is due prior to work beginning..

Do you have a cancellation fee?

The simple answer is yes! We understand things come up and sometimes customers have to cancel their projects. If you do decide to cancel your project after we have started the design process, there is a cancellation fee of $149.00. Please note, if we have not started the project the cancellation fee will be waived.  

Monthly Maintenance Plan

When will changes take affect?

Changes will take affect Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. Most changes are handled within 24 hours. We are closed on all major holidays and will make any updates upon our return.

How do I submit changes to GSB Web Design?

Please send all requests to info@gsbwebdesign.com. Please try to be as specific as possible so our team can handle your request promptly.

How much is website maintenance?

Plans start at $65/month. Our $65/month plan includes one hour of maintenance per month.

Where are you located?

We are located on Long Island in Patchogue, NY. 

What are your hours?

We typically work Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm but appointments are always available.

 

What types of businesses do you serve?

We mainly serve small to mid-size businesses (e.g. restaurants, service businesses, consulting firms, bloggers, law firms).

What holidays are you closed?

We are closed for all major US holidays which includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.
